The how
“I don’t do one-size-fits-all.
The process of decluttering, tidying, and organising a space – whether it’s a single room, work space or an entire home – takes time. There are many factors that can influence how long a project takes: the type of space, its size, the quantity of items, emotional attachments, budget… and more!
Every situation is unique. That’s why I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. I always recommend getting in touch for a free initial consultation – no pressure, just a chat.
The KonMari Method™
As a KonMari Consultant, I operate as an independent contractor. Every KonMari Consultant is different – some focus solely on the KonMari Method of organising, while others offer additional services such as general organising advice, moving support, and even life coaching. It’s important to find the right consultant to suit your needs.
As mentioned above, the cost will vary depending on several factors, including the size of your home, the number of items you own, and how long the tidying process takes. A full home organisation journey can last anywhere from three months to a year – or even longer.
Clients set their own goals and schedules. Some prefer to work with a consultant once a week and complete tasks independently in between, while others choose a more hands-on, full-time approach. Expect to pay from £50 per hour for in-home organising services. Storage solutions and products are not included but can be purchased separately.
That’s why an initial consultation is essential – it helps determine exactly what will be included in your personalised package.
My process
My process begins with a complimentary phone call. We’ll talk about your goals and dreams, how I can support you, and I’ll listen carefully – without judgement – before working out a plan to help make it all happen.
If you’d like to go ahead and book my services, I’ll create a decluttering plan that’s uniquely tailored to your needs and objectives.
Our sessions can be scheduled over a series of days, weeks, or months – whatever suits you best.
We’ll work together to sort through your belongings, deciding what to keep, donate, or let go of. I’ll guide you through how to simplify, organise, and store the things you choose to keep – ideally by category – so everything you need is right at your fingertips.
For a small charitable donation, I’m also happy to take your donations to a local charity, or one we agree on together.
